Knox Jazz is a vital part of the
Knox College community and the City of Galesburg. The Knox College Jazz Ensemble,
the Cherry Street Combo and the Knox College Combos perform regularly in the
community, in concerts, clubs and festivals, and hosts the Rootabaga Jazz Festival
every March. This festival features top national jazz acts, the Knox Jazz Ensemble,
the Knox Faculty and Friends Combo, The Alumni Big Band, and High School and
Middle School bands from the area.
